Tyra Banks wants to be on top. The fashion icon is the first international modeling star to invest in a new web sit that helps people find fashions that they’ve seen on social media on the net. Tyra Banks is the first fashion icon to invest in thehunt.com, which helps people find the clothes that catch their eyes when they see them on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and other social media sites. The Hunt helps people find styles that they seen on the web and helps them find locations where they can buy them.

Tyra Banks will help people find the clothes behind unsourced images on Facebook and Pinterest that they just know would look great. Tyra Banks said she’ll invest in The Hunt through the Supermodel and fashion icon’s Fierce Capital LLC. The Hunt calls itself “the first community-driven online shopping experience that makes social media photos shoppable.”

Fierce Capital LLC is the investment arm of Tyra Banks’ business conglomerate. Tyra is the Chairman and CEO. Tyra uses it to find and put money in fund start-up companies. She specializes in female-run or female interest start-ups. Tyra recently finished an Owner-President Management program at Harvard Business School.

Tyra is excited about the new venture. She said “The Hunt brings a fun and innovative approach to shopping and fashion. What I love most about The Hunt is that women help other women find their perfect outfit H2T [head-to-toe]. I am excited to be part of this new approach to collective retail and styling.”

The Hunt is the first community-driven online shopping experience that makes social media photos shoppable. Other big names that have invested in The Hunt includes actor Ashton Kutcher and his partner RedOne, who produces Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez, Keli Lee, EVP of Casting for ABC Entertainment Group and Anjula Acharia-Bath, CEO of A-Series Entertainment. The Hunt gets one million unique visitors a month.
