“Fifty Shades of Grey” movie cast rumors continue to circulate as insiders and fans speculate. Ian Somerhalder has been doing a lot of the shading lately as "50 Shades of Grey" rumors suggest he’d like to discipline "Lovelace" star Amanda Seyfried in the role of Anastasia Steele. We won’t see Nina Dobrev in “Fifty Shades of Grey” because he’s been avoiding her since their break up and it’s been absolute torture on the “Vampire Diaries” ever since. But not the kind that gets play in “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Celeb Dirty Laundry, says Ian Somerhalder, the 34-year-old star of "Vampire Diaries" Amanda Seyfried to be part of “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie casting. The toothsome hunk wants the “Lovelace” star to be play the innocent 22-year-old college grad Ana Steele if he gets cast as Christian Grey, the sexy 27-year-old billionaire in “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Fans are acting like Somerhalder already has the role.

Celeb Dirty Laundry said "Her spin as Linda Lovelace hits theaters in early August but even before that her name was being circulated. If you saw Amanda in the flick Chloe (with Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore) then you already know that she can pull off the innocent girl that crosses over into some gritty sex scenes. Ian's right, this role really would suit Amanda because she has proven herself capable of portraying a character with many layers."

TheStir.CafeMom.com agrees that if Seyfried and Somerhalder were cast they could make a "pretty hot duo." TheStirCafeMom.com also said that there is a "general consensus" that Somerhalder has the role because "he's so freakin' hot it's tough to imagine anyone but him taking on the role,” which puts Nina Dobrev out of the running for the role of Ana Steele. Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev broke up in May although they are shooting their parts as lovers Damon and Elena on "The Vampire Diaries." Insiders say they two are keeping out of each other’s way on set. “Vampire Diaries” is in its fifth season.

Celeb Dirty Laundry said "Considering that we don't know what the writers have in store for Season 4, we can only hope that Nina and Ian don't have too many intimate scenes on set, otherwise things will probably get awkward real fast."

On July 15, Somerhalder tweeted "'Aloneness is a state of being, whereas loneliness is a state of feeling. It's like the difference between being broke and being poor.'"
