Maria Sharapova's 22-year-old boyfriend and Serena Williams' ex-boyfriend, Grigor Dimitrov, was trained at Patrick Mourtatoglou's tennis academy (who is rumored to be dating the American tennis star) as a teenager.

Serena Williams, Patrick Mouratoglou, Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov have all made headlines for their respective relationships off of the court and comments made to each other.

"Even without these famous, feuding girlfriends, Dimitrov is a good tennis story. He is the first Bulgarian man to crack the top 30, to reach the third round of a Grand Slam event and to earn $1 million in prize money," an article published by New York Daily News reveals.

"Then there's the twist: Dmitrov's parents, both athletes, sent him as a motivated teenager to train at Mouratoglou's Tennis Academy. It's not a good idea to ask Mouratoglou about Dimitrov's progress, at the moment."

The Bulgarian tennis star is currently dating Maria Sharapova amidst controversy over a recent feud the Russian tennis player had with rival Serena Williams - an argument many say stemmed from their connections to Grigor Dimitrov.

A spy who noticed Serena Williams and Grigor Dimitrov on a date in Paris in January 2012 said the two seemed infatuated with each other.

"They were laughing and seemed to really enjoy each other's company. It looked like a first date," the spy told the New York Post.

But Serena Williams' relationship with Grigor Dimitrov didn't seem to end well.

The Wimbledon 2013 star told the New York Daily News shortly after ending her relationship with Grigor Dimitrov that she's "given up on dating."

"The last relationship was just too much of a heartbreak for me. I have to remove myself from that atmosphere for about the next decade or so."
