Dwayne Wade Divorce Battle Continues: Ex-Wife "Made A Mockery" Of Homelessness After Getting $5 Million Settlement And Mansion

Dwayne Wade divorce battle is as messy as ever. The Miami Heat star has been in a messy divorce battle with ex Siohvaughn Funches.

Funches claims Dwyane Wade has put her out on the street and that she was homeless---after Wade gained sole custody of their two sons. Now, Wade says she made a "mockery of homelessness".

Now, she wants endorsement deal money-and it's likely to be a hefty sum, because Wade makes a whopping 11.5 million in them.

Wade recently submitted a financial divorce settlement in court on July 16...and it tallied up to $5 million.

Days later, Siohvaughn Funches was on the streets of Chicago claiming Wade made her homeless. Not true, say lawyers-after all, she'd just gotten five million.

However, she also said she had a "current unstable mental state"...which seemed pretty true.

Wade's lawyer, James Pritkin, told press, "Mr. Wade has provided a very generous settlement to Ms. Funches to continue to live a wonderful lifestyle for the rest of her life."

Wade's attorney called also called her sit-in "unfounded" and "erratic."

"Dwyane Wade has made several requests over the years to settle this matter, despite Ms. Funches having 16 different attorneys and two arrests throughout this process," Pritikin said.

Worse, in fact, Wade's mom was homeless, adding insult to injury.

"Ms. Funches has made a mockery of homelessness which is a serious and personal issue for Mr. Wade as his mother was homeless for a period of time when he was a child."

Oh, and she has a home-she gets to keep a mansion in Holland, and Wade's paid all her bills.

"Despite false allegations by Ms. Funches claiming to be 'homeless' and 'destitute,' Dwyane Wade has maintained over the years financial support to his ex-wife by providing her with income over $25,000 on a monthly basis, timely paid for her home mortgage, maintenance and security at the house, four cars, insurance, taxes and all of her attorney fees throughout this process," Pritikin said.

The Miami Heat star might need to take to the court to cool off.

Still, it's not like he can't afford it. He makes $28.9 million. That earns him a ranking in the top 25  on Forbes' list of the world's top paid athletes.

The two were high school sweethearts and married in 2002. They were divorced in 2007...and have been battling it out ever since. They have two children together.

Funches may not see her kids anytime soon, though. The statement also read,

"The safety and wellbeing of his children are his main priority. Due to Ms. Funches' current unstable mental state, her visitation will be determined by the court. Mr. Wade continues to hope that one day he will have a civil relationship with his ex-wife for the sake of their sons."

The divorce also included a mutual "non-disparage" clause to keep the two from bad-mouthing each other in public...but that clearly hasn't happened.
