Kim Boyoung in the girl group Speeka was revealed to have almost debuted as part of 2NE1.  In an interview, she said "I practiced with the four 2NE1 members. Then I was transferred to a different company right after the others went onto become 2NE1." 

She claims that she didn't reveal this fact until after she debuted as Speeka and settled down a bit because "I didn't want it to be some sort of promotional scandal."

Speeka is the first girl group selectively trained by Lee Hyori and holds many promising developments in the future.
