Claims are being laid to rest that Nicki Minaj filed a restraining order due to being so creeped out by DJ Khaled's MTV marriage proposal.

DJ Khaled recently took to Twitter to tell his fans that they should be smart enough to know that no one would dare put a restraining order against someone with such status as him. He also added the hashtag #sufferingfromsuccess to advertise his seventh upcoming album "Suffering From Success."

“Y’all know better than that they don’t put restraining orders on bosses,” DJ Khaled tweeted. “I’m the DON U witnessing greatness I’m the best that ever did it! JUS KNOW! #sufferingfromsuccess.”

According to HollywoodLife.com, the NYPD also said no restraining order has been filed as of yet. The restraining order claim was reported by Media Take Out three days after the 37-year-old rapper proposed to Minaj. Khaled profession of love to the hip-hop Barbie went something like this: “Nicki Minaj, I’m at MTV, I’m going to be honest with you; I love you. I like you, I want you, I want you to be mine. Nicki Minaj, will you marry me?” To get the proposal in full, check out this MTV News video:    Two days after the love struck rapper gave his heart to Nicki, the Barbz leader posted a picture of herself in a shirt that read "LOVE" along with the caption "It's all u need." With the DJ's album soon to drop and Minaj collaborating on the project, it makes sense to wonder whether this whole proposal thing is a publicity stunt. Yesterday DJ Khaled promoted his single "I Wanna Be With You" via Twitter that features Nicki Minaj and other big time rappers.

He included a shout out to all Nicki Minaj's loyal fans.

Let's also not forget to mention Minaj's rumored boyfriend Scaff Beezy who she recently went to the strip club with to celebrate his birthday.

So was the marriage proposal real like DJ Khaled stressed, or was it just to gain momentum for his new album?
