25-year -old Leslie Carter's autopsy revealed the cause of death is inconclusive, welcoming more questions than answers. The aspiring singer was found dead in her Upstate New York home on Tuesday.

The Chautauqua County Coroner's Office announced that they are awaiting toxicology tests to determine what caused the death.

"The body has been released to the family," coroner Richard Mackowiak said on Wednesday. He reported that there was no visible signs of trauma.

"Results of the toxicology test are made public at the discretion of the family."

An unknown source told TMZ that Leslie Carter, younger sister of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, was suffering from a prescription medication addiction-including Xanax. Family members believe an overdose may have been the cause.

The results of the toxicology test could take six weeks.
