Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson skipped the 2013 Teen Choice Awards Sunday night in California. Was it to avoid an awkward reunion after their public break up following a messy scandal? Their film "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2" won seven awards at the TCAs, and Taylor Lautner, their co-star, was there to pick up a surfboard.

Contactmusic.com reports that, ironically, Kristen and Robert were nominated for "Best Romance" for their on-screen relationship as Bella and Edward in the final installment of the romantic vampire movie franchise. "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2" was released last November, when the couple was still together, Entertainmentwise.com reports.

According to the website, the award for Choice Liplock, which the couple were up for and have won for the last four Twilight movies, has yet to be confirmed, despite the award show ending yesterday.

Kristen and Robert broke up in May of this year, and in just the few months between then and now, Rob has been linked to numerous women, though none of them officially confirmed. They include pop star Katy Perry, Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough, Aussie singer Sia Furler, and now "Machete Kills" actress, Michelle Rodriguez, according to Contactmusic.com reports.

The last installment of the Twilight saga won surf boards for Best Romance and Best Sci-Fi-Fantasy, The Inquisitr reports. Stewart won awards for Choice Movie Actress (Sci-Fi-Fantasy) and Choice Movie Actress (Romance).

Though Kristen and Rob avoided an awkward chance encounter, other Twilight stars were present on Sunday.

Co-star Taylor Lautner picked up a surf board for Choice Movie Actor (Sci-Fi/Fantasy). Kellan Lutz was also recognized for his role in "Twilight," and took home an award for Choice Movie Scene Stealer.

The night before the show, Rob was spotted out with Michelle Rodriguez at an afterparty for a screening of indie flick "It Felt Like Love," Hollywoodlife.com reports.

"Not gonna brag... but hanging out with Robert Pattinson, Marilyn Manson, and Kate Mara," one Twitter user posted about the party, according to Entertainmentwise.com.
