Solo Artists: Are They The New Idol "Groups"?

With the influx of kpop around the world, and now America, several solo artists are using this time to make their comebacks. Guess what? They are not doing bad at all, in fact, numbers are showing quite the opposite.

Lyn, on solo artist making quite the comeback. Her song is "Back In Time" is doing quite well. The song is from "The Moon That Embraces The Sun". MelOn and Mnet rank her number two, just a hair behind Se7en. Se7en took the last 18 months off and burst back onto the scene with a new mini album and the sick single "When I Can't Sing". Now he is back and showing off his shiny number one spot. K. WIll is rounding out the top three solo artists with his single "I Hate Myself".

This is just the beginning of the solo artist revolution. Kpopstarz is on the lookout for J.Y. Park with "Falling" ('Dream High 2′ OST), Brown Eyed Girls' Miryo with "Dirty", and "You & I", Wheesung with"Tearful Road". Hmm... Could this mean some idols will want to break away and strut their solo stuff?
