‘Criminal Minds’ Season 9 Spoilers: BAU Going To Arizona To Search For A ‘Devolving UnSub’; Eva La Rue To Play A New Character, Agent Mays

More Criminal Minds Season 9 spoilers are popping up online making the fans even more excited for the return of the hit CBS show.

As reported by Hollywood Hills, new Criminal Minds Season 9 spoilers for the first episode have been released by CBS, sharing the official synopsis for the premiere on September 25. Episode 1 for Criminal Minds Season 9 will be called "The Inspiration" where the BAU team will head to Arizona to search for the next unsub. Moreover, the team will also be speculating that Hotch is running as the new BAU unit chief, after the death of Chief Strauss on the Season 8 finale.

As posted in HW Hills, the press release for Criminal Minds Season 9 episode 1 reads, "The hunt for a methodical killer is going to take the BAU to Arizona to search for an increasingly devolving UnSub. The team is going to speculate that Hotch is in the running to be the new BAU unit chief."

As for more Criminal Minds Season 9 spoilers, it was revealed that that an Emmy Award-winning actress will guest star in the show. Camryn Manheim will appear in the first episode of Criminal Minds Season 9, to play the role of Carla Hines, mother of Wallace Hines, to be played by Fred Koehler.

Criminal Minds Season 9 spoilers also unleashed that Eva La Rue from the cancelled CSI Miami series will also be featured on the show. The actress made the announcement via Twitter posting, ""Wish I were still playing Natalia on CSI Miami,but playing Agent Mays on Criminal Minds is the next best thing! @CrimMinds_CBS,"

La Rue posted a photo via Instagram taken from the show's set, posing with Shemar Moore (Derek Morgan) and AJ Cook (Jennifer "JJ" Jareau). Her caption for the photo reads, "Great day at Criminal Minds with old friend Shemar and new friend AJ!"

Criminal Minds Season 9 will air on Wednesday night, 8 PM on CBS, Central Time.
