X-Men Days Of Future Past Plot RUMOR: Sequel To Introduce The 'Fantastic Four' Movie Reboot, Epic Crossover In The Works?

The latest X-Men Sequel promises to be the pivotal point of the X-Men Universe. Recent spoilers have indicated the presence of Rachel Summers. It is very likely that Summers will be the link between the X-Men and the possible reboot of the Fantastic Four.

Rachel Summers is the child of Jean Grey also known as Phoenix and Scott Summers, better known as Cyclops. How is she connected with the Fantastic Four?

Rachel Summers is married to Franklin Richards, son of Reed and Sue Richards, otherwise known as Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman. He is also one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel Universe. Only Summers appears in the film, and she is played by Michelle Trachtenberg.

The Days of Future Past features Wolverine being sent back in time to avert, or actually prevent the disaster of the 'present.' The timeline features 1973(with the First Class cast)  and ten years after the events of "X3" which is the third movie in the previous X-Men trilogy.

Meanwhile, Mark Millar, a writer for the comics turned Marvel movie consultant, has confirmed that the anticipated reboot of the "Fantastic Four" movie franchise and its eventual crossover into the X-Men Universe has exceeded the discussion level. Similar to the start of the big crossover that culminated in "The Avengers" movie, Millar admits there is a similar plan for the X-Men.

"Without question I think you have to see some of these guys showing up in each other's movies. I think the most exciting thing in superhero movies, until The Avengers came along, was when Nick Fury showed up in Iron Man. Even though it was a guy with an eye patch it was really cool - and I expect we will see more of that."
