G-Dragon, BoA Among 7 Artists To Collaborate For 'Infinite Challenge' Song Festival Episode

The members of the popular variety show Infinite Challenge are about to take on a new obstacle, with help from some of Korea's biggest music stars.

A press release from the show's network, MBC, revealed the names of seven artists who are set to join the cast of comedians for the upcoming song festival episode.

The program's special episode, Infinite Challenge Night Club, will partner each of the cast members with Big Bang leader G-Dragon, K-Pop queen BoA, hip-hop artist Primary, folk rocker Kim C, acclaimed musician Yu Hee-yeol, and popular K-indie bands Rose Motel and Kiha & The Faces.

This will be G-Dragon's second time participating in the Infinite Challenge song festival episode. Two years ago he worked alongside funnyman Park Myeong Soo on the song "I Had an Affair."

Infinite Challenge is one of South Korea's most popular TV programs and has been a constant comedic fixture since 2005.

Largely unscripted, the program is a challenge-based variety show where the cast members must compete in often ridiculous competitions with one another.

The biennial song festival episode challenges the members to work with well-known artists to create and perform new tunes.

According to MBC the episode is currently being filmed and will air on Saturday.
