Eminem 'Berzerk' Debuts At Number 2 on Billboard 'Hot 100'; Eminem’s New Album Opener 15th Hot 100 top 10 (Video) (Audio)

Eminem’s “Berzerk,” the new single from Eminem’s upcoming album “Marshall Mathers LP2,” hit the charts running amok at number 2 among all digital songs on on this week's Billboard "Hot 100" charts.

Eminem’s “Berzerk was beat out by Katy Perry's "Roar" which hit No. 1 after three weeks on the charts. Katy Perry’s “Roar” sold 448,000 downloads in the past week. Eminem’s “Berzerk" is his 15th Hot 100 top 10.

Eminem’s new song "Berzerk" debuted on the Billboard "Hot 100" digital songs chart in the No. 2 spot with 362,000 downloads. Eminem’s “Berzerk” is expected to be featured on his upcoming "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" album which is set to drop on Nov. 5.

Billboard said "Eminem bows at No. 3 on the Hot 100 with "Berzerk," which blasts in at No. 2 on Digital Songs with 362,000 downloads sold. It starts at No. 13 on Streaming Songs (2.7 million) and No. 59 on Radio Songs (21 million). "

Eminem's "Berzerk" was produced by the legendary Rick Rubin. Eminem’s new album was produced by Rick Rubin and Dr. Dre. Rick Rubin also handled production for Kanye West’s “Yeezus.”

Eminem’s “Berzerk” draws from the styles and beats of Beastie Boys.Eminem’s “Berzerk” is a mix of raw sounds over a sample of Billy Squier's hit 1981 song "The Stroke." An associate said Billy Squire was flattered that Eminem sampled the song.

Nielsen Soundscan showed that Eminem’s “Not Afraid” debuted at Number One in 2010 when it sold about 379,0000 units. Eminem’s single led his album, called “Recovery” to the top of the charts, making it Eminem’s sixth Number One Album on the Billboard 200 Chart.

Eminem put out two singles from the upcoming album, “Survival,” which can be heard on the trailer for a video game and “Berzerk” which hit store shelves this week.
