Jenny McCarthy, “The View” host, will start her run today by bringing her boyfriend Donnie Wahlberg to the panel.

Jenny McCarthy will start her new gig on "The View" today, September 9, with a very special guest, making a very personal appearance. Jenny McCarthy will start off her stint as co-host on “The View” by turning it into a bring your boyfriend to work day. Jenny McCarthy will present Donnie Wahlberg, her boyfriend.

Jenny McCarthy joins veteran hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd and Barbara Walters on “The View” on ABC for the first time today. But the 40-year-old comedienne show probably won’t be lobbing too many zingers at her boyfriend.

Jenny McCarthy, a former Playboy bunny turned TV comedian, and Donnie Wahlberg, who was one of the singers from New Kids on the Block, have been dating since July when they met on Jenny McCarthy’s VH1 show. Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg went into full tilt flirt when Jenny McCarthy started to ask Donnie Wahlberg about his bedroom routine. Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg made their first appearance as a couple at a “Dancing With the Stars” charity event on August 24.

Donnie Wahlberg, 44, will sit on “The View” panel to promote “Blue Bloods,” his show on CBS. Donnie Wahlberg plays Detective Danny Reagan. "Blue Bloods" was recently renewed for a fourth season.

Also appearing with Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg will be the singer Michael Bublé. Buble and his wife Luisana Lopilato had their first child, son Noah on August 27.

In a recent blog post, Jenny McCarthy admitted that she’s both nervous and excited about her new stint as host on “The View,” she wrote "Usually my nerves are more excitement-based, but I have a feeling I will be running into the bathroom at least a few times an hour before we go live on Monday."
