Britney Spears Las Vegas Announcement Triggers Comic Chelsea Handler To Poke Fun
After Britney Spears made an announcement on "Good Morning America" that she made a two year deal to perform in Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood, Chelsea Handler brought on the jokes.
On Tuesday, the same day of Spears' announcement, the comic took to "Chelsea Lately" to give her witty view on the singer headlining in Sin City.
Handler questioned if there was ever a right time for Spears to start performing in Vegas, suggesting that the singer's career has always been on a downward spiral.
"You just have to decide, if you want to go in the beginning when things really are bad, or, you want to go at the end of the run when things are just really, really f--ked up," Handler jabbed.
The comedian also seemed puzzled that there were actually reports that Spears' threw up in a helicopter before her "GMA" appearance.
"Is this a real story?," Handler quipped, according to E!. "She vomited on the helicopter? Why?"
The jokes continued with Handler sarcastically complimenting Spears' skills as a parent.
"She doesn't want to move to Vegas because she doesn't want to take her children out of school, cause she's a great mother," said Handler. "So good at being a mother," she reiterated after a long pause from the audience.
