Tom Hiddleston, who will be playing Loki for a third time in "Thor: The Dark World," sat down to talk about his new movies, wearing wigs, doing Shakespeare plays, and going back in time to meet great people.

Since Hiddleston will yet again be wearing a black wig in his upcoming vampire movie "Only Lovers Left Alive," the actor responded to the question of whether it is only a coincidence.

"I don't know, they just keep coming on I guess. It's never intentional," said Hiddleston. "It's the script and idea I love most of all. It would've been m own hair if I had the time, but I always sort of go from long to short."

When speaking of his faux hairdo in his new vampire flick, the actor had nothing but great things to say.

"I had to have a wig for this one, but it is an amazing wig," said Hiddleston. "It's made out of human hair and yak hair and goat hair."

Supposedly director Jim Jarmusch wanted his haunting characteristics to be stunningly animalistic.

"Jim really wanted vampires to have this kind of thorough beauty that was slightly wolfie," said Hiddleston. "A wolf in the wild, there fur looks incredibly shiny as if it just always been conditioned. These are not just refined sophisticated artists, their wild creatures, their vampires."

Hiddleston added that his co-stars Tilda Swinton and Mia Wasikowska have the same material in their wigs for "Only Lovers Left Alive" too.

Working with Jarmusch on this project has been a unique experience for Hiddleston.

"Jim, he is just so unique. I never worked with anyone quite like him because his knowledge is so deep and he so so so sophisticated and very humble," said Hiddleston. "I use this word very sparingly in my life, but he is just so cool. He's a rockstar."

Although Hiddleston was reluctant to admit that he can be a bit intimidated when doing Shakespeare, he is looking forward to taking on the responsibility of playing Coriolanus.

"It keeps me sharp. It's my great passion. I think it is the greatest challenge and greatest reward," he said. "What you have to do is learn the words and digest them and know them inside out. I feel a bit more alive when I'm doing Shakespeare."

Speaking of Shakespeare, Hiddleston would love to meet him and some of the other greats.

"Definitely Shakespeare," said the actor when asked who he would like to meet from the past. "Ancient Greece I would love to go to. I'd love to meet Plato."

As for "Thor: The Dark World," Hiddleston enjoys playing the villain Loki.

"He is an amazing character. Do it once, do it twice, do it three times it is an extraordinary gift," said Hiddleston. "Loki he is this wild card in the pack, a sort of unpredictable element."
