"The Good Wife" season 5 is upon us, and spoilers are surfacing regarding the 100th episode, as well as future guest stars.

According to TV Line, the special 100th episode will be a milestone, and it will be celebrated with major conflict between Alicia and Will.

"There's going to be a whole act where they use what they know about each other from their love affair in a courtroom battle," says "The Good Wife" co-creator Robert King.

"They're going to basically undercut each other every step of the way."

According to spoilers, flashbacks will be employed in the episode to show how Will and Alicia will use these memories against each other in court.

Although very little is known about what the 100th episode will entail, spoilers also confirm that John Noble will return as the deceased character Matthew Ashbaugh. Hm...

But one actor who is not returning to "The Good Wife" season 5?

Reportedly, the team has no plans for Matthew Perry to return this season as Mike Kresteva, although they'd "love to get him back."

One person who will be returning, however, is Carrie Preston as fan favorite Esbeth Tascioni.

"She's very mercurial," Preston says to Wall Street Journal. "She is as equally surprised by one thought as the next and she gives each of them equal attention, that what makes her such a good lawyer."

Preston, according to spoilers, is expected to return on "The Good Wife" season 5 in episode 4, where she will represent the firm.
