The "Korean Entertainment 10th Anniversary Awards in Japan" will open its red carpet this coming October 19 venue in Chiba prefecture, Japan to memorialize the 10 years of Hallyu in the Land of the Rising Sun.

The selection of winners is based on public voting by logging on at the Korean Entertainment Awards homepage (ke10th.jp). The halfway returns are in and the top artists were well expected to have that kind of votes.

For the artists, the top awardees in music are JYJ, Jaejoong, KARA, and BoA are ones leading the competition. JYJ leads for best male group category, JYJ member Jaejoong vote for as the best male solo, Kara for the category of best female group and BoA leads the best female solo.

For the drama category,  votes were tallied from June 22, "Winter Sonata" is leading in the drama category, while actor Bae Yong Joon is getting the most votes for best male actor and Yoon Eun Hye sets the most vote for best female actress category.
