Eminem New Music Video for 'Survival' Rocks Solid On YouTube; Not Just a Call of Duty (Video)

Eminem released the new music video for "Survival," the second single from Eminem's new album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2." Eminem's new music video comes on the one-month anniversary of the "Berzerk" teaser music video.

Eminem first put out the song "Survival" as a music video accompaniment of the video game "Call of Duty: Ghosts."

On Tuesday, VEVO's Eminem channel aired a clip showing cuts between Slim Shady performing and a "Call of Duty" warehouse. The drummer is at Eminem's side throughout, laying down a rock beat. 500,000 watched Eminem's new video on YouTube by last night.

The concept for Eminem's new album, "The Marshall Mathers LP 2," is a sequel to Eminem's classic album of 2000, 'The Marshall Mathers LP" and the cover reflects that.

Eminem's 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' is set to drop on November 5. It  will include the Slim Shady's recently released songs "Berzerk" and "Survival." Eminem's new album was produced by Rick Rubin, Dr. Dre and DJ Premier.

The Eminem new album 2013 release date was announced during a commercial on the MTV VMAs on Sunday. Eminem put out two singles from the upcoming album, "Survival," which can be heard on the trailer for a video game and "Berzerk" which is already in stores.

Eminem, released his first album, "Infinite," in 1996. Eminem followed that with "The Marshall Mathers LP" and "The Eminem Show." Eminem put out his seventh studio album, "Recovery," in 2010. It debuted at number one on the Billboard charts. Eminem's "Recovery" won the Best Rap Album Grammy that. Eminem's "Recovery" was also nominated for a Best Album Grammy Award.

Eminem's "Berzerk" was produced by the legendary Rick Rubin. Eminem's new album was produced by Rick Rubin and Dr. Dre. Rick Rubin also handled production for Kanye West's "Yeezus." Eminem's "Berzerk" draws from the styles and beats of Beastie Boys. Eminem's "Berzerk" is a mix of raw sounds over a sample of Billy Squier's hit 1981 song "The Stroke." An associate said Billy Squire was flattered that Eminem sampled the song.

Slim Shady won 13 Grammy Awards. Eminem also won a Best Original Song Oscar at the Academy Awards for his hit from his 2002 film "8 Mile," called "Lose Yourself."
