On October 15th, the TOP 30 List for the Melon Music Awards to be held on November 14th was revealed.

The top 10 will be determined after one round of voting. The first round of voting will be open until the 28th, for about 2 weeks. The 30 songs are those that have been released from December 15, 2012 until the Melon Music Awards date, and will be determined by number of downloads (60%) and number of streams (40%).

This year's Top 30 include veteran singers with 10+ years of experience, such as Jo Yong Pil, Lee Hyori, and Vibe, as well as new musicians, such as EXO, Lee Hi, and Lim Kim. There are musicians from the hip hop genre, such as Dynamic Duo, Baechigi, and Geeks, as well as musicians from audition programs, such as Roy Kim and Akdong Musician.

Of the Top 30, the top 10 teams will be determined by the first round of voting (20%) and the pre-determined online ranking score (80%). The 10 artists with the highest scores will be given the '2013 Melon Music Award Top 10.' The results of the 1st round of voting will be revealed on the Melon homepage on October 29th.

Immediately after the 1st round of voting is concluded, the 2nd round will begin. The 2nd round of voting will determine who will receive the Best Artist Award, Best Song Award, and Best Album Award.

The "2013 Melon Music Awards" will take place on November 14th at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium, and the event will be broadcast worldwide via MBC Music, Daum, Melon, and YouTube.
