After rumors emerged that he was dating Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx shutdown the gossip immediately.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Foxx coined the news that he was dating the ex-wife of his pal Tom Cruise as "hilarious."

"(The rumors) are 100% not true," said the 45-year-old "D'Jango" star. "In fact, it's quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people."

It all started when Foxx was seen with Suri's mom dancing together to Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" at a Hamptons charity event for Harlem's Apollo in late August.

Then an alleged insider told In Touch magazine that the two actors were dating.

“Katie and Jamie have been dating for a while,” said the source, adding that Foxx supposedly secretly spent time at Holmes' apartment. “They’re very Mission: Impossible about their romance.”

In addition, another source said that a driver picked Holmes up from Trump Soho Hotel, where Foxx was staying in mid-September.

“A hotel employee confirmed that Katie had stayed at the hotel with Jamie and that she was taking his car,” the second source revealed. “So the driver drove her home to her Chelsea apartment.”
