K-Pop Destinations: "Future's Choice"

If the romantic comedy "Future's Choice" inspires you to make vacation plans that could alter your life and set your fate on the right course, you may want to check into the hotel where some of the drama's romance starts.

The Shilla Hotel on Jeju Island is where Jung Yong Hwa first sees Yoon Eun Hye in the pool. Then he sees her wade into the ocean and almost drown. When she is rescued from the waves, he gallantly carries her back into a hotel room and lays her gently on a fluffy white bed. Besides plenty of fluffy white beds, the gorgeous hotel has restaurants, banquet halls, a fitness club and entertainment facilities. It is located at 7,5 Jungmungwangwang-ro72beon-gil, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do.

Most of the drama takes place inside a fictional newsroom. It is actually filmed in the KBS radio headquarters. You can't visit the rooms the drama is filmed in but you can visit the KBS Exhibition Hall downstairs to learn more about the Korean broadcasting industry, and then get a partial tour of the building.

The 20-minute KBS tour starts from the main hall on the second floor and continues onto the fourth and fifth floors. Besides the small museum, radio drama studio, sound effect instruments, 9 o'clock news corner, hologram corner, 3D movie experience hall and chroma key corner, visitors can watch the TV production process and radio programming process through a studio window.

KBS headquarters is located at 13, Yeouigongwon-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. For more information, you can call +82-2-781-2224~5 or visit office.kbs.co.kr/hall.
