Jennifer Aniston got a new haircut, and Jennifer Aniston's decision to go short has shocked many fans. Read on to find out how you can get Jennifer's Aniston's trendy new haircut, with details straight from Jennifer Aniston's long-time hair stylist.

"The cut is a piecey A-Line bob. It is choppy but with no hard edges. We are calling it the un-precious bob," Jennifer Aniston's hair stylist Chris McMillan told E! News.

The term "un-precious bob" refers to the fact that the haircut takes very little effort to maintain. This is convenient for the every-day woman, and for Jennifer Aniston, who revealed that she doesn't blowout her hair every day.

"The hair has a very lived in look, and you actually don't even how to blow dry it! All she has been doing is applying Living Proof's Perfect Hair Day  5-in-1 Styling Treatment to wet hair to give it volume and smoothness," McMillan explains, adding, "She is loving it so far!"

"This cut can honestly work for anyone. We never could have expected what happened with the Rachel. I think this is a great cut for women right now, and very on trend," he continued, referring to Jen's character's famous hairstyle on "Friends."

McMillan is also the creator of Aniston's bob haircuts in 2001 and 2011, E! News reports.

So why did Jen decide to get this dramatic haircut?

"It was a spontaneous decision," McMillan explained - he is Living Proof's celebrity stylist.

"Jen just wanted a change every so often like every other girl and this style was one that suited her."

Aniston isn't the only Hollywood girl to get a bob haircut recently. As we previously reported, Pamela Anderson and Jennifer Hudson also revealed their new pixie haircuts for the fall season. Miley Cyrus, Anne Hathaway, and Ginnifer Goodwin have all gotten short haircuts recently as well, The Examiner reports.
