The Week In K-Hip Hop: Dumbfoundead Becomes The New Co-Host Of 'Danny From LA', While San E Makes A Comeback

San E, Dumbfoundead, and Jay Park kept the week full of K-Hip Hop news.

Dumbfoundead, who is now known as Parker, released the live acoustic version of the song Angeles on November 6th. The single is off of musician Jose Rios' homage to life in Los Angeles entitled To Live and Grow Up in LA. Dumbfoundead (Parker) is known for chronicling his exploits and showcasing the quintessential California lifestyle in his rhymes.

In addition to releasing the music video for Angeles, Dumbfoundead was named the new co-host to the popular Mnet program, Danny From LA. The show is hosted by Danny Im of YG Entertainment's 1TYM. An artist who is very well known for his sense of humor, Dumbfoundead eluded to the announcement via a social media post which featured a photo of the K-Hip Hop artist with Danny Im and popular male group INFINITE.

Besides announcing his inclusion in Danny From LA, Dumbfoundead released that he would be hosting a party in conjunction with Asian American pop group Far East Movement and electro-pop artist Tokimonsta in LA Koreatown on November 21st. The event entitled Spam N Eggs will be well attended by fans of all three acts and will also feature DJ sets throughout the night.

On November 9th, Jay Park announced the addition of the new artist Elo to his AOMG label, during his concert Woolsan. This new edition will join the ranks of the other AOMG artists whose line up was fully announced on October 30th.

San E, who was once represented by JYP Entertainment, made a solid comeback with the song that asks the slightly creepy question, Where Did You Sleep?. The single features fellow hip hop artists Verbal Jint and Swings with a retro detective agency theme. The artist who is now signed to the Brand New Music label was absent from the music scene for three years; Where Did You Sleep marked a much awaited return.

As 2013 comes to a close, K-Hip Hop continues to have more comebacks and news for its fans. While Dumbfoundead is transitioning to Parker for his upcoming activities, Jay Park is embarking upon a musical adventure by heading up his own label. Both Jay Park and San E have proven that there is life after JYP Entertainment, especially in the hip hop scene.
