Deasung talked about his current feeling before the release of his new album.

Daesung published an excerpt of an interview with Naver on YG's blog and mobile application on February 18.

He said, "Big Bang are not five people, We are a family. There have been good things and bad things, but always, what came to my mind first were the Big Bang members. I am always first and foremost thankful and sorry towards them."

He also talked about recent events and activities. About EMA awards, he said, "It was unbelievable. We always watched it and studied it since we were young. Having been awarded at that big event is like a dream."

About the new album "Alive" he said," We have been in the music scene for seven years. But we wanted to let people know that we still have the same passion that we had when we first started, that we are still alive."

"Some people say that we come back too early. But I think we can speak through our music. The title song "Blue" will express our depression, worries and all thoese agonies in the past year."

The teaser audio of "Blue" was released a few days ago and is receiving enthusiastic responses from the public.
