Kelly Clarkson pregnant with her first baby! Congratulations are in order for the newly wed couple Brandon Blackstock and soon to be mom Kelly Clarkson as the 31-year old belter took it to Twitter to announce the news of her pregnancy on Tuesday, November 19.

No further detail to as how far along is she in her pregnancy was revealed.

The “Tie It Up” singer married Brandon Blackstock on October 20 and has been since very open about her desire to have a baby of her own. (Blackstock has two kids of his own from a previous relationship)

"More than anything, next I want a baby. Lots of them!" she excitingly told Us Weekly before her wedding. "My record label is freaking out because all I can talk about now are babies. We're really excited and want to get our family started."

"I'm 31 and we'd like to do it the natural way. My eggs aren't getting any younger!" she joked. "So we're really excited."
Kelly Clarkson was not the only one excited getting pregnant. "[Brandon] has two kids that I love and they are cool with it," she revealed, pertaining to Savannah, 11, and Seth, 7, Brandon’s kids from a previous relationship. "We got the A-okay from them so we are ready to go. That's definitely the next big project we're going to start on."

The “American Idol” alum was not kidding when she said she wanted a baby. As for her interview with Jay Leno on Monday, November 11, she was sort of pretending to be reserved when Leno asked her if she was pregnant saying the they were not “announcing anything right now… but were having sex ‘like rabbits.’”

"[We want a baby] like now! Practice makes perfect!" she laughingly told Leno on the show. "We do, we do. We're trying, trying, trying. We have two kids, and they're so great. And I never wanted kids before, but now I want, like, five."

Indeed practice makes perfect since Kelly Clarkson is now pregnant and will soon be busy taking care of her little one.
