2NE1 CL's Tattoo in the 'Missing You' Music Video - What Does it Mean?

On November 21, K-Pop sensations 2NE1 released their latest track "Missing You," a sad, melodic tune that is far different from their usual spunky music.

The accompanying music video is slow, yet artistic and each group member shines in their own introspective scenes.

2NE1 leader CL made headlines even before the music video dropped, when it was revealed that she had shot a nude scene to accompany the new song.

The beautiful scenerio in which the naked star appeared felt lonely and vulnerable, much like the feeling expressed in the lyrics to "Missing You".

CL has always portrayed herself as a strong, confident woman comfortable in her own skin, so it comes as no surprise that when the music video was released, she posted three photos of her nude scene to her Instagram account.

One of the photos was a black and white close up of the tattoo that appears on her back in the music video.

The font is difficult to read at first (how many of you paused the video to try and read it?), but according to CL's caption, it reads 'FAITH'.

There has been some argument in the Instagram comments that the font used for the ink makes the word appear as though it is misspelled, reading 'FATIH' instead, but that has yet to be confirmed. It may look that way (and very well may be), but the message is still the same.

There is also a little hidden meaning in the lettering that adorns CL's back. A close look at the letter 'A' reveals that it is actually made up of the number 21, and gives a nice shoutout to the group.
