YG Entertainment head Yang Hyun Suk shared his excitement and confidence of idol group Big Bang’s comeback performance.

Big Bang is to open a solo concert in the largest indoor venue at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena from March 2-4 over the course of 2 days.

The performance is informing Big Bang’s comeback to the music industry. This will kick off the world tour ‘Alive Tour 2012’ traveling to Asia, North America, South America and Europe over 20 cities. It has been 6 years since their last world tour in 2006.
YG and Big Bang’s member has been thoroughly preparing for the performance in early March as it’s a very meaningful comeback.

YG has selected Laurieann Gibson to be the global director who has worked with Michael Jackson, Madonna, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga. Gibson will not only direct the Seoul performance but Big Bang’s world tour, in cooperation with Live Nation.

YG is not being deterred by the cost as they prepare for the concert. Even having the staffs from abroad stay in Korea since the beginning of February to prepare the concert. It’s that the rehearsal have begun almost a month before. The rehearsal venue also is not the gymnastic stadium itself but a large indoor venue.

Yang Hyun Suk shared with Star News on February 23, “You will see a different level of performance through Big Bang. The sound, lighting, and engineers have already been in Korea for the past three weeks and is rehearsing.”
Continuing, “Big Bang members have officially joined the rehearsal from this week. This performance will have a total of four weeks of rehearsal which is unusual in Korea.”

Yang Hyun Suk emphasized that through this performance you will realize the importance of rehearsal and preparation.

Big Bang is to release their fifth mini-album that contains 7 tracks on February 29. ‘Blue’ that was release on February 22 achieved an “all-kill” on all music charts, coming in number 1 on charts like MelOn, Naver and Nate.
