In KBS drama 'Dream High 2' aired on March 12, JB had been eliminated for interpreting the mission wrong. The mission was initially created to improve JB, and Yoo Jin (Jin Woon) who was picked as the first Super Idol member merely was a pace-maker in order to make JB work harder.

But JB lost his chance. When HaeSung (Kang Sora) questioned the results, Jae In said that JB gave up the audition when he chose Kang Sora, and said "He wasn't trying to win, he was trying to go on the stage with you. That's not right manners for other competitors who are trying to win the audience."

Unlike Kang Sora, who shed tears in guilty, JB was calm. He said meeting HaeSung was enough, and said "I told you, you're really not pretty when you cry. Stop," comforting HaeSung. He also told YooJin that he learned something greater than winning on stage, and said "Stage is something you should enjoy."
