Big Bang's Japanese Single 'FEELING' on 'Transformers' Animation

Big Bang’s new Japanese single ‘FEELING’ has been selected as the opening theme song for the animation ‘Transformers.’

YG Entertainment announced on March 18, the new Japanese album ‘Alive’ that will release on March 28 will include two new songs ‘FEELING’ and ‘EGO,’ in addition to the seven songs in the Korean album. The song ‘FEELING’ has been as selected as the opening theme song for Transformers animation.

Big Bang’s ‘FEELING’ is upbeat tempo produced by G-Dragon and German DJ and producer Boys Noize.

The animation ‘Transformers: Prime’ is based on Steven Spielberg’s hit movie ‘Transformers’ and will broadcast as a full 3D CG series in 140 countries and on various channels in Japan including TV Tokyo.

Big Bang’s new album includes total of 10 songs, in addition to ‘FEELING’ and ‘EGO,’ it includes Japanese versions of ‘FANTASTIC BABY,’ ‘BLUE’ and ‘BAD BOY’ written by Verbal of Japanese hip-hop duo M-Flo. Also a bonus track will include ‘Haru Haru.’

Big Bang garnered attention from Japanese local media after the successfully completing the first ‘2012 BIGSHOW/ BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR’ on March 2-4. The group made headlines in Japan media with their world tour that will take place in 16 countries and 25 cities.

Big Bang is planning to hold a five city tour in Japan as part of its world tour ‘BIG BANG ALIVE TOUR IN JAPAN 2012’ in May to make stops in Nagoya, Yokohama, Osaka, Saitama and Fukuoka. The group will also perform at the Kobe World Memorial Hall in Osaka on March 31 and Makuhair Messe Hall in Chiba on April 1 for ‘2012 Springroove Festival.’

The animation ‘Transformers: Prime’ that will introduce Big Bang’s new song ‘FEELING’ as the opening theme will start to air on April 7 every Saturday 8AM JST.
