Brooke Hogan and Phil Costa Call It Quits; Hulk Hogan's Daughter Calls Off Engagement to NFL Star

Brooke Hogan and NFL star Phil Costa have called off their engagement. Brooke Hogan, who is the 25-year-old daughter of Hulk Hogan, called off her engagement to Phil Costa, the 26-year-old Dallas Cowboy football.

According to a representative for Brooke Hogan, the singer and Phil Costa have gone their separate ways.

Brooke Hogan's spokesperson said that Hogan wants to focus on her music, which is "her passion and love." The representative told E! "Brooke moved back to L.A. a couple of weeks ago to be closer to her mom Linda Hogan and she is currently in the studio working on her album. She's halfway through [the album] and expects to release it in the spring."

Brooke Hogan is the daughter of pro wrestler Hulk Hogan.

Brooke Hogan and Costa ended the relationship just a few weeks ago. Brooke will move back to Los Angeles to be closer to her mother Linda, who divorced Hulk Hogan in November 2007 after 24 years of marriage. Brooke Hogan and her family starred on VH1's "Hogan Knows Best" from 2005 to 2007. Brooke got her own spin-off show, Brooke Knows Best, in 2008. It aired for two seasons.

Brooke Hogan and Phil Costa announced their engagement this summer. The couple were on a weekend getaway in Las Vegas when Costa got down on one knee and proposed to Brooke Hogan on June 29.

At the time Brooke Hogan took to Instagram to post a picture and say "Happiest moment of my LIFE. I am marrying my best friend. I [wouldn't] choose anyone else. I am so lucky and so grateful."

Earlier this week, Brooke Hogan wrote "a morning prayer" on Instagram that said "Dear God, today I woke up. I am healthy. I am alive. Thank you." Along with a selfie that showed no engagement ring, the caption said "Moms shirt from the 80s. No joke, still cool."
