Big Bang's Taeyang Crowned Inkigayo's Top Artist of the Week

Big Bang's Taeyang took home the top honor on this week's episode of Inkigayo.

This week on SBS's music program Inkigayo, Taeyang beat out his Big Bang group mate TOP and pop-ballad duo Davichi for Top Artist of the Week with his latest solo track "Ringa Linga."

The November 24 broadcast was an exciting one with four groups and two soloists making comebacks, as well as 100%'s new sub-unit 100% V making their debut.

Taeyang may have won the ultimate prize, but the audience was just as excited by comeback stages from 2NE1, VIXX, and FTIsland who all released new songs in the past week.

Huh Gak and Shin Ji Hoon also had their comeback stages with "Only Your Scent is Left" and "Hurtful" respectively.

Additionally, 100% V made a strong impression on the crowd with their though-provoking new track "Missing You".

Despite other great performances from K.Will, miss A, U-KISS, and many others, it was Taeyang who stole the show with his impressive performance and win with "Ringa Linga."

The singer's latest single has been wildly popular since its release on November 9, and jumped to number one on various music charts around the world including seven different charts in Korea.

"Ringa Linga" marks Taeyang's first Inkigayo win since 2010's single "I Need a Girl."

Check out his energetic performance and winner announcement from the November 24 Inkigayo below.

Congratulations, Taeyang!
