Group TVXQ and Big Bang member G-Dragon's new Japan single and album were ranked both at number 2 in their respective categories.

According to Oricon, TVXQ's 'Very Merry Xmas' and G-Dragon's 'Coup D'etat' were seen on the daily single and daily album chart at number 2.

TVXQ's 'Very Merry Xmas' sold 77,831 copies on the first day of its release and G-Dragon sold 34,597 copies, showing their immense popularity.

Girl group KARA was seen at number 4 on this chart as well.

On the other hand, TVXQ will be holding their Japan tour starting next April.

G-Dragon will be joining Big Bang of their Japan 6 dome tour.
