Brown Eyed Girls’ ‘Abracadabra’ in French Movie ‘Les Tuche’

As K-Pop fever is spreading out K-Pop has been featured in a French movie.

Girl group Brown Eyed Girls’ hit song ‘Abracadabra’ was featured in a scene of the film. The film is titled ‘Les Tuche’ released last year. ‘Abracadabra’ plays in the background as two main characters enter the club then the main character goes to the DJ and request the music to be changed handing a CD.

The film is about a family whose lifestyle changes after winning the lottery. Although it remains unknown who in the movie production staff selected K-Pop to be used in the film it shows how much K-pop base has expanded in Europe.

It was not just a mere coincidence as the production company officially requested permission to use the song.

Brown Eyed Girls agency Nega Networks stated, “We received an official request to use the song in the movie which we accepted. The members were surprised to hear that ‘Abracadabra’ would be used in a movie.”
