As the popularity of K-pop grows across the globe, more and more American singers are making covers of Korean pop hits in English!

Although some K-pop fans have done covers in Korean, coming up with English lyrics for a Korean song is much more difficult.

But that is exactly what some K-pop fans have done to hit singles by Girls' Generation, 2NE1, and more!

A great example of this is a cover of Vixx's "I'm Ready to Get Hurt (On and On)" by Christopher Jordan. Although the rap is missing, the translation is fairly accurate and the quality of the cover sounds very professional.

Such creativity from talented K-pop fans can be found all over YouTube. Ashilia and JD Relic are such a duo who specializes in covering K-pop singles and turning them into epic English songs.

The interesting thing about English covers is that two different singers can come up with drastically different lyrics for the same song. Take these two covers of "Missing You" by 2NE1.

Elise, known as Silv3rT3ar on YouTube, is one such example. The 17-year-old gets thousands of views for each cover video, and a good example is her acoustic EXO covers like the one below, which has nearly 250,000 views!
