Biography

The beautiful Han Groo whose full name is Min Han-groo was born in Namyangju which is the Gyeonggi Province in South Korea. Han is a singer as well as actress which makes her talented.

While Han was growing up, she and her family moved a lot, they went to the United States where she attended school. She is smart academically and excelled on everything that she took when she was living in the US. She also won an award which was the "U.S. President's Education Award" back in 2003. Then the parents moved again to China where she attended school there as well. Finally, the parents decided that China was not a great place to stay and live so they packed up and went back home to South Korea.

Han tested waters to find her niche by singing which she released a couple of songs. Even though she has a great voice, can dance, and was nominated for "Best New Female Artist at the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Award," she stopped and went into acting. Fans of Han Groo thought that she will keep on singing after she won that great award; though that did not happen. Han did not want to sing her whole life and turned to acting which she found out that this is exactly what she wanted to do.

Cast on a Drama Series

Han Groo will be part of the cast for this months drama series that is titled, "One Warm Word" which the story is about a married couple who sees themselves in danger due to the wife as well as the husband finding out that they are "attracted to other people." I guess the wife and husband got tired of each other and now they are looking for love or finding out that the people they meet are handsome or beautiful which causes them to fall in-love even though the male as well as the female knows that they are married. Can married couples just live a happy life? If you are going to get married, make sure that the person is really the one you love; I mean that is why you go on dates right? To know the person. Either way, this should be an interesting drama for this month which I am looking forward to seeing.

Han Groo will be part of the "Eun Jin as well as the Sung Soo's family" by playing as "Na Eun Young" who is "Eun Jin's younger sister" by being the age of 27.

The drama began airing already on December 2, 2013 which there will be a total of 20 episodes. The days in-which the series will air are Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00 (KST).

Other Dramas She Has Starred

Han Groo is no stranger when it comes to filming and this drama is certainly not her first. She was on the drama for "MBC" which was "Scandal: A Shocking and Wrongful Incident" by playing as well as starring "Kim Jae Won's younger sister." She was also on the "KBS drama special" that was titled, "Daddy's Metamorphosing" or a.k.a. "Daddy's a Pervert." So you can see that she has already starred in two dramas already which will make this one her third.

Korean news media E News World featured an article regarding about how Han Groo is a natural when it comes to acting when she starred in the movie, "Girl K." This movie had so much action that the people who saw her were really impressed. Han played as a spy undercover while living her life. She was called as the "Korean Angelina Jolie" because she was swift and a "perfect killer" with a "no-nonsense attitude." She was silent as a ninja and killed her opponents in the movie quickly and quietly. This truly showed that acting is her skill and talent.
