Popera Singer Kai Has Showcase in Japan

Popera singer Kai is to have his debut in May caught many attentions at Omotesando Aristo Hall in Tokyo on Friday during his showcase.

He got big applause when he performed 'Aiwa Hukaku' the title song of his Japanese album, 'I am Kai' and 'Name of Love' from Korean album. He sang 'Jekyll and Hyde' as an encore and took a new step in Japan.

Lyrics of 'Aiwa Hukaku' is composed by Mathui Goro who has written for other hit songs for popular artists in Japan. The song also has been selected as ending theme song of 'Korea Love' a K-wave program on satellite TV channel BS11.

Kai said, "I have been dreaming to perform in Korea and Japan, I am so happy to have this small start together with those who love music. want to share beautiful heart and sound, peace and love of music with you more through music.”

Kai is currently MC of radio program 'Live classic,’ and appears on musical 'Story of My Life.’ He majored in classical vocal from Seoul National University and he has been awarded of Schubert Competition 2002, third place on Dong-A Competition (Voice), third on Osaka International Music Competition2009.
