K-Pop Rewind: 1TYM "1TYM (One Time for Your Mind)"

In the world of K-Pop, YG Entertainment's Teddy Park is one of the most respected producers. While he has gained a following in the last couple years for his work with the agency's hit groups Big Bang and 2NE1, many old school fans remember Teddy as a member of one of the most popular first generation K-Pop groups, 1TYM.

1TYM was a four-member hip-hop group under YG Entertainment that debuted in 1998 and had five successful album releases before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2005.

The group's first album, One Time for Your Mind, was one of 1998's best-selling albums and earned the group several big awards including the Golden Disk and SBS Music awards for Best New Artist. They also were honored with KMTV's Hip-Hop Award that year.

The group's self-titled track "1TYM (One Time for Your Mind)" is still one of their most recognizable and popular - forever a fan favorite.

As the group's first official music video, "1TYM" was one of the most popular songs playing on the airwaves 15 years ago and is still one of the most beloved early K-Pop tracks.

Although the group never officially split up, 1TYM have been on hiatus since shortly after their last release One Way in 2005.

The original group members have kept busy since then; Danny broke into acting and now has his own show Danny From LA, Baekkyoung participated in another music group known as MoogaDang, and Teddy, of course, stuck around the agency and is now producing some of South Korea's most original modern music.

Recently it was also announced that Teddy is romantically involved with actress Han Ye Seul.
