Popular K-pop Songs This Week! : Which Song Are You Listening Now?

If you are an adherent fan of K-Pop you must be happy these days. As so many good songs are coming out daily, March was a month where many boy bands have marked their comeback. Just this past week the first place of the music charts were alternated between the new songs released by the boy band.

Currently today the popular band CNBLUE ‘Hey You’ has secured the first place on major music website charts.

-Is a shuffle-rhythm modern rocker in line with CNBLUE’s past musical style. Although the melody is cheerful and bright the lyrics are that of love, longing and some tingles of regret.

Shinhwa’s ‘Venus’ achieved an all-kill 3 days ago

- Lyrics were written by Lee Minwoo. Pop-electro dance song composed by Andrew Jackson who has worked with pop artist Britney Spears and Leona Lewis. The heavy beats of the song is following the current global electronic trend while lyrics are the revelation of a man’s heart towards one woman. With a catchy chorus and perfect dance performance it will be remembered as a song that represents ‘Shinhwa.’

Busker Busker’s ‘Ideal Type’ achieved number 1.

- A rock and roll song showing off the groups distinctive colors. The song was written and produced by Jang Bum Joon. With Jang Bum Joon’s powerful vocal and guitar play added with Kim Hyung Tae’s rhythmical base play adds to the finished sound. Showing off their humorous and creative style of music, it is from the view of a man to a woman he loves. The woman who isn’t beautiful isn’t praised for her eyes but instead is praises her toenails, spine, middle ear and other parts.

Three days prior SHINee’s new song ‘Sherlock’ swept the music chart.

- The title song was a hybrid remix, mixing two independent songs into a new song. Present a unique chart as watching a musical telling the story of Sherlock solving a criminal case combining reasoning clues ‘Clue’ and emotional intuition ‘Note.’ It shows a smart chart connecting two different songs into one song.

2AM ‘I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me’

The impressive balled composed by Kim Do Hoon is their title song. The title song suites 2AM’s mature voice perfectly for their comeback after a year and a half of hiatus. The beautiful opening with of the slow piano and cello seems to deepen the sadness of the song. The lyrics express the painful love story of the broken heart after breaking up and enduring the pain inside.

Big Bang also consistently placed top position with the songs on their 5th mini-album consistently for one month.

- Big Bang’s ‘Fantastic Baby’ is a strong beat and fast dynamic mix. Already has been introduced by American music sites like Billboard, Stereogum, France’s Juke Box, Brazil music site letra, also on TIME magazine.

It’s good news that all of the songs genres are different allowing the music lovers to fall into pleasant worries.
