"Infinite Challenge" Returns To Being The Most Interesting Show on TV

MBC's "Infinite Challenge" has once again been designated as the most interesting show on TV. The re-run of "Infinite Challenge" was the second on the list, solidifying its dominant presence on the list.

Korean Broadcasting and Advertising Company (KOBACO) used its patented Program Engagement Index(PEI) to calculate the show that the viewers were most engaged in for the month of November. "Infinite Challenge" and "Infinite Challenge: Special" took the top two places with 144 and 143.3 points respectively.

"Infinite Challenge" fell short in September and October due to Ryu Hyun Jin's playoff run with the Los Angeles Dodgers and the wildly popular TV Drama "Good Doctor" finale.

KOBACO determined that the "Freedom Road Song Festival" episode and the "Face Reader" episode was what pulled "Infinite Challenge" to the top spot.

KOBACO's PEI showed that viewers of all ages were highly engaged during the airing of "Infinite Challenge", with every age group averaging around 140 on the PEI.

"The Heirs" took the third place with 141.3. "Secret" took the fourth with 139.7, and the documentary "We Want to Know" took the fifth place with 135.1.

The programs that received the highest PEI rating of "S" were mostly from MBC. MBC had 8 "S" rated programs, while SBS had 4 and KBS had 3.

PEI determines the amount of interest that the viewers show during a program. Any number above 100 shows a heightened interest while a number below 100 shows a lack of interest.

KOBACO determines its PEI by reaching out to an average of 15,000 viewers through an online survey on the day after the KBS, MBC, and SBS programming has aired.
