YG Solo Idols TOP, G-Dragon, Taeyang and CL Listed Among the Year's Best by London Style Magazine 'Dazed & Confused'

London-based style magazine Dazed & Confused is among the world's leading media sources to promote the spread of K-Pop around the world.

A December 10 article posted to the magazine's website highlights songs deemed the Top Ten K-Pop of 2013.

Dazed writer Taylor Glasby explains that despite the tumultuous year for many in the Korean music industry, 2013 was one filled with great music including "music videos that inspire, songs which transcend language barriers, [and] heart-wrenching and deserved comebacks."

A diverse list that catches glimpses of power-pop, hip-hop, and dance, Dazed & Confused's ranking is fairly comprehensive.

Not surprisingly, YG Entertainment's idols-gone-solo  dominated the year's releases, leading the English magazine to name Big Bang rapper TOP number one with his recent single "DOOM DADA."

His Big Bang group mates G-Dragon and Taeyang also came in at number three and number five, respectively.

TOP and Taeyang got their singles into the 2013 mix last month with "Ringa Linga" dropping on November 9 and "DOOM DADA" following a week later while G-Dragon got a jump on the fall season with his title track "Coup d'etat."  All three songs were among the year's most successful.

Sharing in the glory of her YG label-mates, 2NE1 leader CL made a big splash in the industry with her first solo single "The Baddest Female" in May and landed at number eight on the Dazed & Confused list.

Other notable additions to the year's top songs list were SM Entertainment super idols EXO, ranking number two with their hit single "Growl."  They are joined by label-mates and sixth place holders f(x), who tore up the music charts in 2013 with "Rum Pum Pum Pum."

Newly inducted members to SM Town, INFINITE had a successful year with their fourth mini-album New Challenge and second single album Destiny which came in at number four on the year-end list.

The seven-member boy group also nabbed the Mnet Asian Music Award last month for Best Male Group and kicked off their One Great Step world tour across Asia, Europe, and North and South America.

Viral sensations Crayon Pop gained attention for "Bar Bar Bar" and its accompanying dance craze, with Dazed & Confused listing them at number nine just ahead of male group BAP and their track "Hurricane."

Finishing out the top ten list is sexy pop duo Trouble Maker who turned more than a few heads with their 19+ music video for "There is No Tomorrow (Now)."
