Seo In Guk Rockets To Number 1 On The Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 With 'Loved You' Featuring Zia

After debuting last week at number 23 on the K-Pop Hot 100, the breakup ballad "Loved You" by 2009 "Superstar K" winner Seo In Guk and featuring solo singer Zia catapulted up the chart to number one this week.

The respected production team of Hwang Se Jun and Melodesign wrote "Loved You," which Seo's record label Jellyfish Entertainment released as a digital single.

Lena Park's ballad "My Wish" from the soundtrack for the Seoul Broadcasting System television drama "The Heirs," jumped to number two on Billboard's K-pop chart, after debuting last week at number two.

Although "My Wish" was featured in episode 14 and 15 of  the 20-episode mini-series, the hype surrounding the final episode of "The Heirs," which airs on Thursday, could have helped push "My Wish" up to number two.

"Happy Me" by Lim Kim, also known as Kim Ye Rim of the duo Togeworl, also made some advancements up the chart this week.

After entering the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 last week at number six, her cover of the 1990s hit "Happy Me," originally recorded by K-pop girl group ECO, has jumped to number three.

Kim recorded the song for the soundtrack of the new tvN retro drama "Reply 1994."

The holiday-themed song "Miracles In December" by 12-member South Korean and Chinese boy band EXO debuted at number four this week on the Billboard chart.

According to a statement on Sunday from the group's record label SM Entertainment, pre-sales of "Miracles In December" in South Korea and China have exceeded 400,000 copies.

Sistar frontwoman Hyolyn (also spelled Hyorin) rounds out the top five with "One Way Love." The song is the leadoff single off of Hyolyn's first solo album.

The Sistar frontwoman took over the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 this week, with two singles from her first solo album, "Love & Hate," released on Nov. 26, cracking the top five.

"One Way Love" debuted at number one and "Lonely" debuted at number three.

Three other songs from Hyolyn's "Love & Hate" cracked the top 40 last week, with "Stalker" ranking at number 21, "Don't Love Me" at number 32 and "Red Lipstick" is at number 40.

Although this week tells a considerably different tale for Hyolyn, "Lonely" is hanging tough at number 17.
