Big Bang and 2NE1 is to release their new albums in Japan on the same day today.

Big Bang released ‘ALIVE’ while 2NE1 released their new album ‘COLLECTION.’

Big Bang’s new album includes the group’s fifth mini-album ‘Alive’ released in Korea with two additional songs of ‘EGO’ and ‘FEELING.’ The album contains a total of 10 songs.

The new songs ‘EGO’ and ‘FEELING’ have been gaining a lot of anticipation as it is to be released for the first time in Japan.

‘FEELING’ which has received attention for being selected as the opening theme song for Japanese animation ‘Transformer Prime’ is composed by world-renowned artist ‘BOYS NOIZE’ from Germany G-Dragon and T.O.P. ‘EGO’ also drew attention with Big Bang’s usual groove and interesting lyrics.

2NE1 first full-length album in Japan contains total of 12 songs which includes the group’s hits in Korea and bonus tracks of ‘LIKE A VIRGIN,’ ‘She’s So (Outta Control),’ and ‘Scream.’

Not only did the group remake Madonna’s mega hit ‘LIKE A VIRGIN’ but also m-flo’s ‘She’s So (Outta Control)’ remix version is included as well.

The group showed their ability by having ‘LIKE A VIRGIN,’ ‘SCREAM,’ and ‘LOVE IS OUCH’ to be used as TV commercial songs such as beverage, travel agency and clothing brands even before the release of the album.

Both album included participation of M-flo member Verbal, writing the lyrics for Big Bang’s ‘Fantastic Baby’ and 2NE1’s ‘SCREAM.’
Big Bang and 2NE1 after releasing the album is to perform at Japan’s biggest music festival ‘Spring Grove’ on March 31 in Kobe and April 1 in Chiba joining famous artists such as LMFAO and David Guetta.

Big Bang recently released the schedule for the Japanese leg of their world tour ‘2012 BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR IN JAPAN’ in five regions as Nagoya, Yokohama, Osaka, Saitama and Fukuoka. The concert ticket even before the official ticket sales begins, many of the concerts have been sold out already through pre-sales.
