K-Pop Crossover [VIDEO]: Kpop Duo KONKRETE Puts a Korean Twist On Mariah Carey's `All I Want For Christmas Is You’

K-Pop Crossover: Kpop duet KONKRETE is giving out their Christmas gifts early. KONKRETE just unwrapped their Korean/English Cover of Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You." KONKRETE is a Korean pop duo made up of two sisters who dream of bridging the gap between the Eastern and Western pop music by singing in a mixture of Korean and English.

The singing sisters hope to hit the holiday charts in a bilingual way on this Christmas classic and KONKRETE are hitting all the right notes.

Konkrete's first single is a cover of Mariah Carey's classic homage to Sixties Girl Group The Ronettes, "All I Want For Christmas Is You." The sisters bring out the soul and the fun of the song and trim that tree with jubilant holiday spirit.

"All I Want for Christmas Is You" was co-written by Mariah Carey and came out as the lead single from her fourth studio album, "Merry Christmas." Mariah doesn't care about presents or decorations, she's in love and all she wants is to be back in her lover's arms for the holidays. Konkrete's holiday, pre-album single, "All I Want for Christmas" was produced and arranged by Mister Rocks. Backing up Konkrete are the musicians Darius Minaee on drums, Justin Andres on bass and David Kim on guitar.

KONKRETE  will release their debut album in 2014.  You can keep up with them on Facebook: https://facebook.com/konkretesisters and Twitter: https://twitter.com/konkretesisters.

Listen here. And don't forget the mistletoe.
