GTA V PC Release Date: 4 Reasons The World's Fastest Selling Game Will Arrive To PCs Next Year

Since Grand Theft Auto launched in September, a great deal of fans have already started demanding a GTA V PC release date to be unveiled. Unfortunately, in spite countless rants and a petition that almost has a million signatures, Rockstar has yet to make any specific announcement.

Fortunately, all good things come to those who wait. And here are four reasons that GTA V for PC is still on the go, with a probable launch early next year.

1. A retailer set a release in mid-March

If you haven't paid attention in news for the past few months, you may have missed the one that shows a Norwegian retailer's pre-order page for GTA V. In the leaked image, the release will be on the 18th of March next year, and will be available the next day, 19th. Let us just hope the one who launched the pre-order page wasn't just day-dreaming when he included the release dates.

2. It will further prolong the impact of GTA V to its loyal players

In just three short months, GTA V has radically changed the landscape of current-gen console gaming. And now, even with the newly released consoles, GTA V is a highly-anticipated title. Though, the company has previously announced that the game will not arrive to next-gen consoles, Rockstar would not want the hype to die while players are waiting for the PC version. And so in the next couple of months, we may expect the PS4 and Xbox One versions to be announced.

3. Rockstar could be planning to merge consoles and PCs in GTA Online

GTA Online has been a disappointment during its first few days, but it has finally picked up steam and players are now enjoying the somewhat limited 16-player instances. Because of this success, Rockstar could be planning to enjoin players in consoles with PC players when GTA V finally comes out to the platform.

4. Rockstar wants to earn money

Any company that is in its right mind will take advantage of anything that makes it profitable. In September, GTA V sales notched $1 billion, and that's just for console sales. We can only imagine how many more people are going to get it for their computers once a PC version comes out.
