As posted on Examiner, the GTA 5 infinite money glitch was found in the multiplayer mode of the game, and citing Product Reviews, the exploit needs two players.

To make the glitch work, the first player, who needs to have a garage full of cars, has to but the Z-type car, which is available in GTA Online for $950,000. The Examiner post reads, "The exploit occurs when the first player buys the aforementioned vehicle from his garage in the same area and replaces it with another vehicle. He or she will then be transferred to another server."

On the other hand, the second player needs to stay in the same garage during the entire process as he needs to invite the player back to the original server.

If the exploit was done properly, all the vehicles in the first player's garage will be duplicated, and these cars can be sold to Los Santos Custom shop, which will give the gamers infinite cash flow.
