Avengers 2: Age of Ultron Spoiler Alert: Hawkeye Returns! Who's The Other Star To Join Superhero Cast?

It's official! Jeremy Renner himself confirmed that his character, Hawkeye, will certainly be in the "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" movie but there's another superhero who will join the cast of Earth's Mightiest Defenders.

In a recent interview, the "Jason Bourne" actor confirmed with Latino Review that he will be returning as Clint Barton, the man who couldn't miss with his arrow, when the Avengers 2 roll out in theatres in May 2015.

Presumably, Hawkeye will play a much bigger role this time as it was reported that Renner was not quite satisfied with how his character was used during the first Avengers.

The confirmation was made through an interview conducted by Latino-Review wherein the actor playing Hawkeye was quoted saying: "Yes! Of course."

Before he confirmed about coming back, there were rumors surrounding Hawkeye, particularly about looking for another actor to replace Renner.

This means all the original cast of the Avengers will return. Joining Renner are Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.

James Spader, meanwhile, was tapped to play Ultron, Elizabeth Olsen will be the Scarlet Witch and Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be Quicksilver.

However, another Oscar-winning actor will join in the fun.

Don Cheadle, who played best friend to Iron Man, also told USA Today that he is expected to film for the Avengers sequel.

This time, Cheadle will reprise his character Iron Patriot, also known as War Machine.

"I have a production meeting (for the movie) after I get off the phone with you actually," he told USA Today. "There's a lot of hats that I'm wearing ... I'm just trying to manage my time."

Aside from Avengers 2, if it pushes through, Cheadle just finished the "House of Lies" but he is set to direct and also star in a biopic about jazz legend Miles Davis.
