Comedian Yoo Jae Suk was chosen as the top comedian for 2013.

On December 18th Gallup Korea revealed the results of a survey for '2013's Shining Comedian," and Yoo Jae Suk took the number 1 spot.

Gallup Korea conducted a survey last month from the 1st to the 18th, and asked 1702 men and women over the age of 18 who the brightest shining comedian of 2013 was. They were allowed up to two answers, and Yoo Jae Suk won 36.4% of the votes. He topped the list for 2 consecutive years now.

Yoo Jae Suk is currently the leading MC for a number of entertainment programs, including MBC's "Infinite Challenge," SBS' "Running Man," and KBS' "Happy Together 3." He conducts the progression of the show very well, and has been noted for playing a central role in these shows.

Yoo Jae Suk was chosen as the top comedian by Gallup Korea for 5 consecutive years from 2005 to 2009. In 2010 and 2011 he took 2nd place, but last year and this year he's taken the number 1 spot again. For almost 10 years now he's been nicknamed as the "national MC," and continues to show off his unique MC'ing skills.

Comedian Shin Bora took 2nd place in the survey with 15.8% of the votes. Shin Bora first started on KBS in 2010. She became more well known in 2011 with her appearance on "Gag Concert," and is even now currently leading the corner "Legendary Legend" and "Ppoom Entertainment." She has also been noted for her excellent vocals. On December 6th she performed the song "Frozen" on "Music Bank," and has expanded her career to include being a singer.

Kim Joon Hyun took 3rd place with 14.7% of the votes. SBS' "Star King" and KBS' "Our neighborhood Arts and Sports" MC Kang Ho Dong took 4th place with 11.2% of the votes.

Kim Joon Ho placed 5th, Kim Ji Min placed 6th, and Kim Byung Man and Lee Soo Keun both stood at 7th place. Park Myung Soo was included in the top 10.
