Previously, it was revealed that Sohee's contract with JYP Entertainment was expiring, and the actress had not yet renewed.  The day has come and Sohee is no longer tied to  a contract as a JYP artist and as a member of Wonder Girls. 

Sohee revealed that she wanted to make a slight career shift by pursuing acting instead of being a member of Wonder Girls. Now that she has not yet renewed her contract, JYPE representatives mentioned that they were in the middle of negotiating with Sohee. Until now, the singer-actress hasn't reached a final decision whether to leave or stay at the beloved agency.

But many fans are curious about the said issue so someone close to Sohee revealed saying, "Following multiple discussions with her agency, it seems they decided to part ways peacefully for each other's sake... Although she will leave JYP Entertainment, she will continue to get along with her [JYPE] family whom she was under the same agency with for a long time."

Multiple media insiders revealed that Sohee is leaving the company and looking for various agencies. JYP Entertainment has yet to confirm this.
