SM Entertainment has revealed three more members of their trainees known as S.M. Rookies. Through the SMTOWN Twitter, the agency revealed the photos for Yuta, Ten, and Johnny. The S.M. Rookies have been making waves through a social media blitz by the agency. Besides releasing photos of the Rookies, SM Entertainment has also released a dance training video of the boys, as well as snippets of video which capture the vocal talent of their female trainees.

The marketing campaign for S.M. Rookies has correlated with the SMTOWN Week Festival, as well as the holiday promotions for EXO's Miracle In December. In addition to releasing individual photos featuring the trainees, SM Entertainment has also shown the upcoming talent with in photos and video with their more established artists.

While there is a Facebook account for S.M. Rookies, the official website for the trainees has yet to open. As a new year approaches, SM, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment have scrambled to release more information about their future artists. The most successful move, in terms of displaying the talent of the trainees, has been by YG Entertainment with WIN:Who Is Next which lead to the successful launch of WINNER. The level of talent surrounding the S.M. Rookies has yet to be determined, but if previous acts on SM are any indication, YG and JYP should ready themselves for the moment when this army of trainees is unleashed upon the K-Pop industry.
